Train off Tracks - Blocking Crossings in La Grande

TRAIN OFF TRACKS - BLOCKING CROSSINGS IN LA GRANDE
Earlier this morning, a train passing through La Grande came off of the tracks. There is no public safety concerns that we're aware of at this time. The Union Pacific train is now stationary and blocking the railroad crossings at Fir Street, Greenwood Street, and Cherry Street. Please avoid these crossings to alleviate congestion.
We do no know how long the train will be stationary and blocking these crossings. We have been advised that it could be lengthy... potentially all day. This is all the information we have at this time. Additional information will be provided by Union Pacific Railroad.
