Arts Commission
Description
The purpose of the Commission is to encourage greater opportunities for and recognition of the arts in the La Grande area; provide coordination of events to showcase the abilities of area artists; provide development and promotion of the arts as a factor in the economic life of the community; pursue funding sources, projects and programs, including opportunities for children; and provide liaison and representation to the Eastern Oregon Regional Arts Council.
