Mission Statement

Economic Development Department provides the citizens of La Grande order, safety and vitality by facilitating, managing and supporting customer-driven development projects, offering excellent service and value.

The City of La Grande's Economic Development Division oversees the implementation of the Urban Renewal Plan, the Economic Development Plan and the Main Street program; and works in partnership with other local, regional and statewide economic partners to develop a strong and resilient local economy for the City of La Grande.
