Future Steward's Day is a program developed by the City to educate local 3rd Graders on air quality, water quality, water conservation and recycling topics. The day consists of six stations that the children rotate through, lunch is served, education handouts are given in the form of goodie bags and a calender contest is held. The program is funded through an air quality grant received from the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality.
