Air Quality Index Table

In cooperation with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) the City of La Grande coordinated the installation of air quality monitoring stations throughout Eastern Oregon to form a local air quality monitoring network.  Utilizing the data generated from these montioring stations users will be able to obtain current local air quality conditions and will also be able to forecast future conditions by taking advantage of the multiple tools offered through the website.

The monitoring stations were developed by E::Space Labs, a technology firm based in Bend, Oregon.  The stations take hourly air quality readings, which are available to users on E::Space's website which can be seen here.  In addition to air quality data the webpage also contains a link to Oregon Department of Transportation's (ODOT) Tripcheck cameras, current wind conditions, and wild fire information.  The various tools can be turned on or off with the buttons located just above the map to the right of the screen.

Now you can take the map with you!!  Utilizing the smartphone app you can have access to all this information on the go, just go to your app store and search for AQI Oregon.  Here is a screenshot of the App you are looking for:
