Fire Extinguishers
We currently offer Fire Extinguisher Training free of charge. The class covers the basics of how to use, where to store, proper maintenance, and types & applications of fire extinguishers.
CPR
Car Seats
LGFD currently has one car seat technician. Please call the station in advance to schedule an appointment for installation, or if you have any questions about our car seat program.
Training Room Public Access
Our training classroom is open to public use. If you or your company needs to use the training room please call in advance to schedule an appointment. The room is first come first serve Monday-Friday 08:00 am - 05:00 pm. Meaning, if there is another group already scheduled for the time needed, another time will need to be used. The link below is our training room policy and application form required to be reviewed, signed, and turned in to administrative assistant Jennifer Fox at our physical address prior to scheduling your appointment.
Station Tours
Station tours are available Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. You can also schedule a ride along if interested in a career in the Fire & EMS services. Each provides a great opportunity for students and community members to get a glimpse into a day in the life of a firefighter.
