The La Grande City Council is recruiting members for its Advisory Commissions and Committees.  These Commissions and Committees have the following number of open positions:  Air Quality (3 of 7 positions open); Arts (3 of 7); Budget (3 of 7); Building Board of Appeals (4 of 5); Community Landscape and Forestry (2 of 5); Landmarks (2 of 5); Library (3 of 5); Parking, Traffic Safety, and Street Maintenance (2 of 7); Parks and Recreation (3 of 7); Planning (1 of 5); Union County Tourism Advisory (2 of 2); and Urban Renewal Advisory (1 of 5).

To be considered during the Council’s Regular Session on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, please submit your completed application not later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023.  Applications can be mailed to the City of La Grande, 1000 Adams Ave, PO Box 670, (Attn: Keri Quinn or Stacey Stockhoff); emailed to kquinn@cityoflagrande.org or  sstockhoff@cityoflagrande.org; or dropped off at City Manager’s Office (upstairs in City Hall) for consideration.  Staff will still accept applications after this deadline; however, these applications will be considered by the City Council at their February Regular Session if there are still vacancies
