Walking School Bus Survey

Walking School Bus

What is a Walking School Bus?

A Walking School Bus is a group of students, with adult supervision, walking along a set route between their home and school.  Children can join the bus along a route to and from school, near their home, or they can be taken to a pick-up point to walk from there. All children are welcome to join!

If you live within 1 mile of your school then the Walking School Bus is ideal for you.

Who can be a volunteer?

The Walking School Bus is accompanied by at least two adult volunteers. A volunteer can be a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle or a community member interested in helping children get to school. Volunteers are background checked through the Parks and Recreation Department.
