Schools are back in session, so watch out on your daily commute.  Encourage your kids to walk or ride their bicycles to school. 

October

4th- walk and roll to school day.  Join students and families across the nation and walk or ride your bicycle.  If your live to far, consider a remote drop off location so your child can still participate.  

Bicycle Repair Station Installed

The Parks and Recreation Department has installed a bicycle repair station and a tire pump at Riverside Park.  The station was Donated by the Grande Tour supporters who donated three bicycle repair stations to La Grande, Union, and Baker City, all along the route of the Grande Tour Scenic Bikeway.  We are excited for individuals to use this generous gift.
