Riverside Playground Replacement

The City of La Grande Parks & Recreation Department needs your help!  The beloved Riverside Park playground, built 20 years ago is in need of replacement.  We're looking for dedicated parents, community members, businesses to help pick our new playground design, fundraise, and help write grants for the project.

We can do it just like they did last time!  Wait, how DID they do this last time?

• A strong group of dedicated volunteers led by a smaller committee working together with the City.
• Fundraising bake sales, car washes, local business support, grant writing, donations, and more.
• Hundreds of local school children and community members helped build on site.
