Concrete sidewalk removal and replacement switches to the NORTH side of Adams Ave. between Elm & Depot. This work is expected to be completed by the end of the week. There will be NO PARKING on the north side of Adams in this section. The travel lane will also be closed and routed to the center turn lane. The driveway exit at Sterling Bank will be open Tuesday and Wednesday only.

Sidewalk removal and replacement begins on the south side of Adams between Elm & Depot. This work is scheduled to be completed by the end of the week. Parking on Adams in this section will be closed starting at 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 6.
Work on the north side of Adams is scheduled to begin the following week, Aug. 13.

Most work will be completing work started the previous week. Contrary to earlier updates, work on Adams Ave. will NOT begin this week; that work will start the week of Aug. 6.
There will be no parking on the south side of Adams between Elm & Depot beginning at 6 a.m. on Aug. 6.New concrete will go in on Washington between Elm & Depot, on the east side of Elm near Jefferson and the west side of Elm near Washington. The alley entrance on the east side of Depot between Adams & Washington is under construction. Minor water utility work will occur to the rear of the Reynolds Building on Washington.

Concrete work continues throughout the project, including on Washington Ave. Finish asphalt work will occur on the west side of Depot between Adams and Jefferson to complete that section. Prep work starts on Adams with saw-cutting. The first demolition work on Adams is set to occur the following week, July 30-Aug. 3. The contractor hopes to open up some additional on-street parking on the side streets next week.
