- REMINDER - IOOF Cleanup Project work closes alley behind City Hall
The work to abate environmental hazards in the IOOF building at 1106 Adams began on July 9 and will last for approximately 6.5 weeks. During this time the alley behind the building will be closed to through traffic. A detour is set up through the parking lot adjacent to City Hall.

Project updates for next week – pretty much more of the same – removing concrete on the west side of Elm between Adams & Washington and finishing up concrete work in most other areas. All pedestrian ramps at Adams should be complete except the one at the NE corner of Elm & Adams.

- Big H Project Week 4 Update

Next week, the Project begins the first big “Flip” from Stage One to Stage Two – meaning that in each block section the work transitions to the other side. As concrete gets poured on one side, concrete removal begins on the opposite side of the street in each section on Elm and Depot. Work on Adams won’t start until after Crazy Days in late July.

New concrete sidewalks will be installed. Saw-cutting of existing concrete & asphalt will occur. Some removal of existing concrete will take place.
