FRIENDS OF THE COOK MEMORIAL LIBRARY

Children's Librarian Carrie Phillips and some of her friends at Story Time

Mission

The Friends of the Cook Memorial Library is a nonprofit, charitable organization supporting activities of the Library and promoting opportunities for community members to benefit from library services by raising funds to sustain and expand the many amenities of our Library.

Strategic Plan

  • Conduct book sales in front of the library on Fourth Street, May through October.
  • Solicit contributions from local businesses and residents to provide the Children's Library with needed supplies for activities
  • Conduct plant sales, silent auctions of art and donated items, and seminars in the Colleen F. Johnson Community Room
