Riverside Park Pavilion Fire
The La Grande Fire Department arrived at Riverside Park at 4:20 a.m. on Saturday, February 12, 2011, to find the roof of the Riverside Park Pavilion engulfed in flames. Seventeen firefighters from La Grande and 14 firefighters from mutual aid partners battled the blaze. The 97-year-old structure was a total loss.
