The City of La Grande Department of Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services, formerly located at the corner of Washington and Elm Street (102 Elm) in downtown La Grande, Union County, Oregon, moved to new headquarters in 2002 at 1806 Cove Avenue. The fire station is staffed 24 hours per day.
